How to Be Creative - A New Post Series

Hi there,

The study of creativity is a passion of mine, and so I wanted to create this little place online where I could write freely about all of the things I’m learning, exploring, and doing as they relate to creativity.

I’m a multi-passionate creative in that I’ve tried many different types of creative projects, but I mostly consider myself a writer.

I love to make collages in my art journal, but I’m not really an artist.

I’m new to creating pixel art and working on game development, but neither of those define me as a creative either.

More than anything, I’m a writer. I’ve written novels, short stories, poems, articles, and all sorts of things. I’ve been a writer for a long, long time and I’m always growing and learning and expanding on my skills.

As a learner, I love everything about creativity.

I like to read quotes from famous creatives. I love to view other people’s art or read their books.

I adore how the creative process varies from person to person, and that there’s not really a one-size-fits-all approach.

I love that creativity is a process of learning a skill, but also a process of learning about yourself.

This new post series is where I will explore these ideas and more. Hope you love it.

xx
