Bloganuary Day 5: Joy

Another day of January, another day of the WordPress Bloganuary challenge. Today’s prompt asks:

What brings you joy in life?

Above all else, my family is my greatest joy.

Smaller joys:

  • coffee

  • rainbow window stickers

  • quiet mornings

  • snails on rainy days

  • handmade creations gifted to me by my children

  • journals, pens, stationery, paper planners

  • funny memes sent to me by dear friends

  • spontaneous moments

  • planned events, trips, etc on the calendar

  • paper weights and ceiling fans

  • kids tv shows that are also enjoyable for adults

  • friendly, kind writing groups

  • libraries, bookstores, book collections, bookmarks

  • staying up way too late reading (and then finishing the book in the morning)

  • fictional stories that make me feel less alone (often in a very specific way)

  • …and many, many more
