Writing Update Wednesday: 02/01/2023

Hi there,

This week has been an interesting one—schools have been closed for a few days now for ‘snow days’ which really means ice here in Texas. Although the ice has melted somewhat over the last few hours, school for tomorrow has already been canceled.

My kids are playing indoors and I’ve been doing my best to stay focused on Thorn (my Rapunzel retelling), but with this week of lowered productivity plus some unexpected happenings otherwise, I’ve made the decision to push back Thorn’s release date by a few weeks.

This will give me extra time for polishing, and I really think it’s the best decision for this particular release. The difference in release dates is minimal as I’m moving the release date from 3/2 to 3/23.

Alright, back to work for me. I’ll share more updates next week.
